“DON’T BLINK – HOLD THE LINE” From the Pen of Dr. Cho Ayaba, Written in Detention, Oslo, 13 October 2025 In a world distracted by silence and complicity, a powerful voice still echoes from behind bars.
Dr. Cho Ayaba warns: “Don’t Blink.” Across the Sahel, from Niger to Central Africa, extremist forces are gaining strength. Boko Haram, JNIM, ISWAP — spreading chaos that has consumed over 100,000 lives between 2012 and 2025. Despite years of international intervention, Africa continues to bleed under a failed French state model, a colonial design that grips the continent in centralized control, choking innovation, justice, and progress. While others seek to manage the crisis through force and propaganda, Ambazonia stands apart.
It rises not from external manipulation, but from the will of a people determined to live free ,to build Africa’s first democracy founded on power alternation and a decentralized, people-oriented economic system. This vision, written in the confinement of Oslo prison, is not just a warning.
It is a declaration that Ambazonia remains Africa’s last hope for stability ,a model of governance born from resistance and built for the future. “JUST SO YOU KNOW” Dr. Ayaba exposes how oppressive regimes operate:
They create parallel hierarchies youth movements, women’s groups, and local councils to tighten control over civilians.
They construct psychological warfare — using propaganda, media, churches, and slogans to demonize the resistance as “terrorists” and “kidnappers.”
They harass activists, weaponizing courts, police, and bureaucracy to silence truth and crush hope.
And when all else fails, they create militias to unleash terror in disguise. This is not history repeating itself by accident.
It is a deliberate replay of Lacheroy’s counterrevolutionary doctrine, first used by France against Cameroon’s UPC liberation movement in the 1950s a policy now perfected and deployed by Yaoundé against Ambazonia. But the resistance is not broken.
It is informed.
It is organized.
And it is led by a man whose pen, even in captivity, exposes the entire architecture of oppression. WE WILL NOT BLINK. WE WILL HOLD THE LINE. From prison walls to the world stage, Dr. Cho Ayaba’s words remind every Ambazonian
the battle for freedom is intellectual, spiritual, and generational.
And as long as truth is written, even in captivity, the vision of Ambazonia lives. Norway—Stop Protecting Genociders! Ambazonia—Stand Up and Defend Your Homeland! We hope you are watching, ICC, we hope you are watching and preparing your case against Cameroun. *Canada, Your Moral Voice Cannot Be Selective* Just days ago, Canadian leaders issued a bold statement urging parties in the Iran crisis to “return immediately to the negotiating table” and reach a “diplomatic solution to end this crisis.” Mark Carney made this call publicly, declaring: “Canada calls on parties to return immediately to the negotiating table and reach a diplomatic solution to end this crisis.” And Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand echoed this call, adding: “We urge parties to return to the negotiating table and reach a resolution to this crisis.” But here’s the contradiction the world cannot ignore: For seven years, Ambazonians have pleaded for that same diplomatic path in the face of a brutal war waged by the Cameroonian regime. Entire villages in Southern Cameroons (Ambazonia) have been wiped out. Over 3 million people are in need of humanitarian aid. Thousands have been killed.
Canada knows this. In fact, Canada led a pre-negotiation initiative between Ambazonia and Cameroon in 2023 , a diplomatic breakthrough celebrated by global peace advocates. Yet today, Canada is silent as Cameroon escalates its crackdown, arrests justice defenders like Dr. Cho Ayaba, and continues its scorched-earth policy in Ambazonia. You cannot call for peace in Iran while ignoring the bloodshed in Ambazonia. You cannot advocate for diplomacy in the Middle East while abandoning a process you began in West Africa. This is not just selective diplomacy, it is a dangerous double standard. Where is your voice for the forgotten war in Ambazonia?
Where is your leadership in the crisis you already stepped into and recognized?
What happened to your commitment to conflict resolution, justice, and diplomacy, everywhere, for everyone? Canada’s credibility is not built on words but on consistency. If you believe in peaceful resolution through negotiation, then return to the table with Ambazonia and Cameroun.
Revive the Canada-led peace talks.
Demand accountability from Cameroon.
And stand by the very values you claim to champion on the global stage. Because real diplomacy doesn’t pick sides based on headlines.
It acts — when it matters most, and when the world is silent. Norway—Stop Protecting Genociders! Ambazonia—Stand Up and Defend Your Homeland! Dr. Cho Ayaba Called Out Norwegian Media’s Bias Before His Arrest! On August 16, 2024, just before his unjust arrest by Norwegian authorities, Dr. Cho Ayaba sat down with Norway’s NRK TV for a background discussion on the Ambazonia-Cameroon conflict. But rather than focusing on the massacres, war crimes, systematic torture, and mass incarceration of Ambazonians by Cameroon’s authoritarian regime, NRK prioritized pushing their own propaganda for domestic consumption. This blatant disregard for the suffering of an entire people exposes the deep-rooted hypocrisy of Western media choosing to ignore state-backed atrocities while amplifying narratives that serve their own interests. Why was NRK @NRKno more interested in shaping an internal narrative for Norway rather than amplifying the desperate cry for self-determination by millions of Ambazonians? Why is Norway so silent on Cameroon’s well-documented crimes against humanity, reported by respected organizations like Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, the Norwegian Refugee Council, Oxford University researchers, and many others? Has the Norwegian government ever questioned Cameroon about these atrocities, or are they deliberately turning a blind eye to maintain lucrative political and economic ties? While Norway signs multi-billion dollar deals with Cameroon, it is fully aware of the dictatorship’s systematic human rights violations the mass killings, enforced disappearances, and brutal repression of Ambazonians. Yet, instead of standing for justice, Norway arrests a freedom fighter whose only “crime” is advocating for his people’s right to self-determination. This raises serious questions: Does Norway truly stand for human rights, or do economic and political interests dictate its actions? Why is Cameroon rewarded with deals and international legitimacy while the voices of its victims are silenced? Even more hypocritical is Norway’s claim of wanting to broker peace or a negotiated settlement between Ambazonia and Cameroon while keeping the Ambazonian leader in their custody. How can Norway claim to be an impartial mediator while actively suppressing one side’s leadership? Dr. Cho Ayaba’s arrest only reinforces the reality that those who expose the truth about oppressive regimes are targeted. Norway must answer: Are they defenders of human rights, or are they complicit in Cameroon’s colonial oppression of Ambazonia? Norway—Stop Protecting Genociders! Ambazonia—Stand Up and Defend Your Homeland! oppression. Silence is complicity. Justice must prevail. Join us in demanding the release of Dr Cho Ayaba . Dr. @ChoAyaba, the revolutionary leader of the Ambazonia people, is questioning the international community's bias against him. He wonders why they want him to stop advocating for Ambazonia's freedom and independence. Despite being a vocal advocate for his people, Ayaba has been detained by Norwegian authorities, who accuse him of unfounded allegations of inciting crimes against humanity. Ayaba's detention has sparked controversy, with many arguing that the charges against him are unfounded and politically motivated. Many believe that the international community is trying to silence him and suppress the Ambazonian independence movement. As the leader of the Ambazonia Governing Council (AGovC), Ayaba has been a key figure in the fight for Ambazonian independence from Cameroon. His detention has not deterred his commitment to the cause, and he remains determined to continue advocating for his people's rights. The situation highlights the complex and often fraught nature of international politics, where countries' actions can sometimes contradict their stated values. Ayaba's case has drawn attention to the need for international accountability and the importance of protecting human rights, particularly in the context of self-determination movements . AMBASONIA TAKES FULL CONTROL: NO MORE OCCUPIER’S MANIPULATION! Ambazonia will no longer be a playground for the occupier’s deceitful games! The Ambazonia Governing Council has issued an EXECUTIVE ORDER banning all sports, social, and cultural events organized by La République du Cameroun and its enablers within our land. For decades, Cameroon has used these events to manipulate, pacify, and tighten its grip on our people while perpetuating its illegal occupation. That era is over! No traitor, blackleg, or collaborator will be allowed to exploit our suffering to normalize tyranny. This order shall be enforced with full authority by Ambazonian forces across our land. NORWAY’S SHAME: IMPRISONING A FREEDOM FIGHTER WHILE PROTECTING GENOCIDAL REGIMES! On February 10th, the extended four-week detention of Dr. Cho Ayaba, the leader of Ambazonia’s liberation movement, will come to an end. Yet, Norway has failed to produce a shred of evidence to justify his continued imprisonment. This baseless detention is a direct assault on justice, human rights, and the principles Norway claims to uphold. Dr. Cho Ayaba has spent decades fighting against the genocide Cameroon, backed by France, has unleashed on Ambazonia. He has never committed a crime his only “offense” is daring to stand against tyranny and demand freedom for his people. Yet, while Norway unjustly imprisons him, the real perpetrators Cameroon, France, and their murderous military continue their campaign of slaughter and destruction in Ambazonia without consequence. Over 70,000 Ambazonians murdered in cold blood. Villages burned, homes destroyed, families wiped out. Cameroon’s military rapes and executes women and children with impunity. Political prisoners and activists hunted down, imprisoned, and assassinated. Norway is complicit in this injustice. By detaining Dr. Ayaba without cause, it is aiding and abetting Cameroon’s genocidal regime while silencing the voices fighting for justice. Norway’s Gross Violation of Human Rights Arbitrary Detention Dr. Ayaba remains imprisoned without a single charge or legal justification. This is political persecution, plain and simple. Denial of Due Process Norway has failed to produce any evidence, yet continues to hold him in blatant violation of his fundamental rights. Double Standards on Justice While war criminals from Cameroon roam free, Norway chooses to target a man defending his people from genocide. This Is a Stain on Norway’s Reputation! What kind of democracy jails a freedom fighter while turning a blind eye to the real criminals? Norway’s actions are a betrayal of everything it claims to stand for; human rights, justice, and the rule of law. This is a national disgrace! We Demand Immediate Action! Norway should release Dr. Cho Ayaba immediately! The international community must hold Norway accountable for this injustice! Ambazonians and justice seekers worldwide must rise up and expose Norway’s hypocrisy! The world is watching. Will Norway continue to shield a genocidal regime while imprisoning its victims? Or will it correct this shameful injustice before it’s too late? Join us in demanding the release of Dr Cho Ayaba @ChoAyaba . Norway’s Flawed Legal System: The Unlawful Extension of Dr. Cho Ayaba’s Detention and a Grave Human Rights Violation The ongoing detention of Dr. Cho Ayaba by Norwegian authorities has crossed every boundary of justice, legality, and human rights. For over five months, Norway has held him in detention without charge, without trial, and without any credible evidence of wrongdoing. Under Norwegian law, specifically article 183 of the Criminal Procedure Act (*Straffeprosessloven*), a suspect must be brought before a court within three days of arrest. Pre-trial detention can be extended, but such extensions require substantial justification and are subject to strict time limits. The law mandates that if the prosecution fails to present substantial evidence within a reasonable period, the court must dismiss the case and order the accused's release. ([loc.gov](loc.gov/item/global-le…)) In Dr. Ayaba’s case, this legal safeguard has been completely ignored. Five months have passed, and Norway has still not produced any credible evidence. Dr Cho Ayaba’s detention has been unjustly extended over four consecutive times giving the same flimsy excuses of fear of tempering with evidence and conducting more interviews. Instead of upholding its own legal principles, the Norwegian judiciary continues to grant one baseless extension after another, keeping him in detention under circumstances that have never been applied to any other political figure in Norway’s history. This is nothing short of judicial bias, institutional racism, and a gross violation of fundamental human rights. How can Norway, a nation that prides itself on democracy and the rule of law, justify such an unprecedented miscarriage of justice? Dr. Cho Ayaba is not just an individual. He is the leader of the Ambazonian liberation movement, and his detention is a clear attack on the struggle for self-determination. This is political persecution, disguised as legal procedure. Dr. Ayaba’s detention not only breaches Norwegian law but also violates **international human rights protections**, specifically: 1. European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR): - Article 5(1) – Right to Liberty and Security: “Everyone has the right to liberty and security of person. No one shall be deprived of his liberty save in the following cases and in accordance with a procedure prescribed by law.” - Article 5(3)– “Everyone arrested or detained shall be brought promptly before a judge... [and] shall be entitled to trial within a reasonable time or to release pending trial.” The repeated extensions of Dr. Ayaba’s detention without charge and the lack of a reasonable time frame for trial clearly contravene these fundamental rights. 2. Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR):Article 9 &10. These international standards make it clear that prolonged detention without trial and the failure to provide a fair process are blatant violations of Dr. Ayaba’s human rights and dignity. We call on the Norwegian government, the judiciary, and the international human rights community to put an end to this malicious prosecution. Dr. Cho Ayaba must be released **immediately**. His continued detention is not only unlawful but exposes Norway’s hypocrisy in matters of justice and human rights. Join us in demanding the release of Dr Cho Ayaba @ChoAyaba . Stand against tyranny. @USBGovernment @EGerasouli35992 anetteberger2 @vgnett @Kripos_NCIS @NRKno @DepSecDef @AsstSecStateAF @SenateForeign @Sebastien_Nadot @SecBlinken @SenateForeign @CanadaFP @NFdep @StateDept @DepSecStateMR @hrw @ICRCPresident @DeputySecState @USAmbUN @melaniejoly @joDionNgute @PR_Paul_BIYA @volker_turk @norwaygov_rx @EspenBarthEide @NorwayMFA @UNHumanRights @jonasgahrstore @UKParliament @supremecourt_no @mats56455 @EksfinN @jcelden @Hans_Vang @MariaDahle @sunnago @Zingeris @PACE_News @Tsihanouskaya @ECHR_CEDH @IntlCrimCourt @ICRC @realDonaldTrump
