This corridor connects all blocks of NPKL — any choke point will impact both sides. 1) BDA ignored the original MAR DPR and approved plan, executed the project after dropping the proposed tunnel at the Mysore Road junction, which was meant to ensure signal-free movement. With altered rotaries and inadequate planning at the Magadi Road junction, the very objective of seamless connectivity now stands compromised. Now the consequences of these unplanned junctions will be borne by the public. 2) We flagged entry–exit bottlenecks and coordination gaps for years. Those warnings were ignored, and now last-minute workarounds are being explored. 3) For the proposed cloverleaf, land acquisition is yet to begin. Plan finalisation, land handover, funding to NHAI, tendering, execution, and completion will take multiple years. Until then, Public, NPKL residents will continue to face congestion. We appreciate that key gaps are now being noticed and discussed. However, in almost every review meeting, new items are added to the completion list. Many of these were highlighted earlier by us with supporting records, but were not prioritised at that time. We sincerely hope that by the new April deadline, all remaining road works will be completed and the public can use both the main carriageway and service roads end to end without restriction. The cloverleaf junction, in particular, should be prioritised to ensure seamless end-to-end connectivity.

Officials were unable to respond convincingly to the Commissioner’s queries,isn't it? Land acquisition progress reflect how serious its been taken up,isn't it? Enginering team, Instead of accurate work-progress updates, components were initially claimed as “completed,” and only after ground realities were pointed out, the status shifted to “in progress.” "we will look into it" isn't it? Delivery should not depend on monitoring pressure—citizens deserve uniform standards everywhere. Video 1 – Dr Shivarama Karanth Layout (under judicial monitoring): No to negligible land acquisition issues, Formation began ~3 years ago. Though allotment is yet to begin, the layout is practically “ready to construct.” Roads asphalted with good quality. Footpaths completed. UGD laid. Water supply provision in place. Electricity nearing completion. Strong sector connectivity. CA & parks fenced. Sites are neat and clean, boundary stones fixed, numbering clearly visible individual utility connections properly marked and culvert network closed with slabs. Video 2 – Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout (9 years old): Majorly DPR, App5oved scheme plan violated, Sites allotted in 2016 & 2018. Basic amenities still “work in progress.” Multiple deadlines have passed. Another May 2026 deadline may come and go—but on ground, “work in progress” has not changed to “completed.” Even after 9 years, 1000+ acres acquisition remains pending. In ~2800 acres formed area,along with many works, finishing works are yet to be completed. Continuity and connectivity remain weak across layout.Asphalting has picked up, but quality appears inconsistent. Electricity work lags. UGD and water supply face continuity issues due to acquisition gaps. Finishing works such as site and culvert cleaning, demarcation, numbering, culvert slab covering, and signboards are progressing at a very slow pace. No footpaths. No proper inter-block connectivity—MAR remains the only lifeline, No slabs on culverts network.

Yes sir it was, Earlier, when the Commissioner sir used to conduct review meetings, clear deadlines were assigned. Isn't it? Now, in the progress discussion revolves only around land acquisition. The land acquisition team cites court issues, the law department says the matter is “in progress,” and the engineering team states that infrastructure continuity and connectivity are pending due to land acquisition constraints. This has effectively become an infinite loop.
