I’m honestly confused about how, and why, the WNBA hasn’t stepped in, and how the Chicago Sky have been allowed to get away with this BS for years. From the piss poor working conditions their employees have had to deal with for yrs, to Jeff allegedly telling a Black assistant coach, someone who knows far more about basketball than he ever will, that she was going to have to beg for her job, etc. This from a man who’s never coached at any level, never played the game at any level, and never successfully managed shit, which is exactly why the franchise is in the mess it’s in with draft picks and the future of this franchise right now. And then how they handled T-Spoon was beyond fucked up. They didn’t just fire her, they couldn’t even give her the basic respect of explaining why. No transparency. No professionalism. No decency. At some point, this stops bein isolated incidents and starts looking like a pattern of incompetence, disrespect, and unchecked power. The silence from the league is loud, and it raises real questions about accountability and who’s really being protected.

Minnesotans, we’ve been through a lot. And I believe this moment calls for grit, resilience, and faith in each other. I believe we must stand up for what’s right. And fix what’s wrong. Today, I’m announcing my candidacy for Governor.
