Get ready for a new Jamaica, Queens: This morning, my administration celebrated the approval of a massive plan to completely reimagine Jamaica in Queens. Passed by the New York City Department of City Planning this morning, the initiative will see the development of 12,000 new homes and 4,000 new jobs across a full 230 blocks in Jamaica. Best of all: Some 4,000 of these homes will be earmarked for lower-income residents — all part of our plan to be the most pro-housing administration in NYC history!
