WHAT DID YOU DO THIS BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND? Devastatingly, #ExcludedUK lost our 38th member to suicide over not being able to afford the Bounce Back Loan that 90% of UK taxpayers did not have to take out to live. As is our policy, we never give out names, locations etc., but all MPs should sit up and take notice as this could be one of your constituents! Obviously we have sent our condolences to family, friends and their fellow excluded, but they deserve better and need you to step up and do your bit! Surely it doesn't have to be your loved one who takes their own life before you do whatever you can to raise this matter. YES! The initial issue WAS 5 years ago… but the devastation is still being felt by businesses and individuals, YOUR CONSTITUENTS, even now! 10 recent attempted suicides over Bounce Back Loan Repayments and now one successful attempt! #ExcludedUK members are incredulous at how hypocritical you are to pretend you have ANY compassion for war veterans! You intentionally left thousands of war veterans for dead when you excluded them, as part of the 3.8 million UK taxpayers, left without parity of Covid-19 Financial Support, like the other 90% of the country got! Some got ZERO!! How does anyone live off nothing? Even when we let you know about the suicides, you ignored us! You LIED and said you had met with us and then declined to prove it! Repeatedly we pleaded with you to talk to us to try and help those whose businesses and lives were being decimated… you called us fraudsters… whilst paying out millions to your cronies for useless PPE. How is someone employed, but denied furlough a fraud risk? How is an employed woman returning from Maternity Leave a fraudster? How is a war veteran, using their pension to start a business, a fraud? You have ALL their details in HMRC??!??! So please do not spout more BS that you actually CARE about war veterans… you literally left them for dead! Not sure your two children represent the 3.8 million UK taxpayers who were excluded from parity of support schemes... ask #ExcludedUK members... or have a look at excludeduk.org to educate yourself. I know it seems hard to believe that a government would ignore 10% of the UK workforce at a time they needed them the most, but 3.8 million experienced exactly that... and sadly at least 37 took their own lives as they could not face having to live off nothing.

OUR OWN TV DRAMA PILOT!!! #ExcludedUK have tried everything to get our story out to the world in anyway, shape or form and, so far, nobody has been willing to feature us in a major way...well, not enough for the general public to sit up and take us seriously.. We had a glimmer of hope with some media interest following ITV's Mr Bates vs The Post Office drama, but all the interviews came to nothing, meaning our story still didn't make the main news, let alone the TV. One reason that broadcasters might be a bit shy is that, despite it being the UK's most-watched TV show of the year so far, Mr Bates vs The Post Office made ITV a loss of about £1m! So we thought this would put everyone off doing another drama, particularly on such a sensitive topic where people have taken their own lives... Then we were approached by a TV production company..... ......we had several meetings..... .......then we were sent the attached trailer .... ..........when we stopped crying... .......we decided that we would back the production company.... ........please watch the trailer and give us your reactions.. This is where Eastenders would put the Duff-Duffs.... So, now you have composed yourselves... ExcludedUK will promote the crowd funder for this TV pilot to see if we can raise enough money to make the pilot episode (we are hoping to make at least two more episodes once the pilot episode is sold). All the jobs required to create the pilot episode will be offered to ExcludedUK members first (details to follow soon). PLEASE NOTE: We have a duty of care to make it clear to members that, like our own fund, you must not donate anything you cannot afford, we just ask you forward the details of the crowd funder to all your contacts and share on social media. @hairyconflake @carolvorders @LBC Apply that here then..."you only earn salary when you go to work". The whole point is the economy was largely shut down, hence meaningful financial support was required. It wasn't given fairly & 3.8 million (ONS figure) were WRONGLY excluded.
