His name was Brigadier Mohammad Usman. At Partition, Pakistan wanted him. He was one of the finest Muslim officers in the army, and he was offered seniority and a future in the new Pakistan he could not have dreamed of in India. He said no. Twelve days short of his 36th birthday, he died fighting for India instead. He was born on 15 July 1912 in Azamgarh, the son of a police officer. When he was twelve, a child fell into a well in his village. Usman jumped in and pulled him out. The rope tore his hands open. He carried those scars for the rest of his life. He trained at Sandhurst, one of the few Indians the British allowed to become officers. Then came Partition. His regiment, the Baluch, was sent to Pakistan. Almost every Muslim officer went with it. Usman was urged to go too, and offered rank and promotion in the new army. His answer was simple. He was born in India. He would die in India. Late 1947. Pakistani raiders poured into Kashmir and took Jhangar, planning to hand it over as a prize. Usman was sent to hold Nowshera. His own men, raw from Partition, doubted whether a Muslim commander would be loyal. He made "Jai Hind" the greeting of his brigade and swore he would not sleep on a bed until Jhangar was retaken. 6 February 1948. Eleven thousand attackers hit Nowshera from every side. His outnumbered men did not break. Nearly a thousand of the enemy lay dead by the end. Thirty-three Indians fell. They began calling him the Lion of Nowshera. Pakistan put a bounty of fifty thousand rupees on his head. 3 July 1948. Evening at Jhangar. He had just finished his prayers and was meeting his officers when a shell landed near his post. He died within minutes. He was the highest-ranking Indian officer killed in that war. Nehru and his cabinet came to the funeral. Maulana Azad led the prayers. He was given the Maha Vir Chakra. He lies buried at Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi. A man who was offered a future in one country, and chose to die for another.

Her name was Saraswathi Rajamani. She was born in 1927 in Rangoon, into one of the wealthiest Indian families in Burma. Her father owned a gold mine. She grew up in a mansion, slept on golden beds, and had newspapers and a radio at a time when few people did. When she was about ten years old, Mahatma Gandhi visited her family’s home. Seeing her practising with a gun, he asked why she needed it. She replied that she wanted to shoot the British. The answer startled him. At sixteen, she heard Subhas Chandra Bose speak in Rangoon. He called upon Indians to give their wealth and, if necessary, their blood for India’s freedom. She walked up and donated all her gold and diamond jewellery to the Indian National Army. Bose was astonished when he learned both the value of the donation and the age of the girl who had made it. He renamed her Saraswathi, saying she possessed a wisdom beyond her years. She wanted to fight. Instead, Bose recruited her into the INA’s intelligence network. For nearly two years, she cut her hair short, dressed as a boy called Mani, and worked inside British military camps as a servant. She carried messages, gathered intelligence, and secretly passed it to the INA. When one of her fellow women spies was captured, Saraswathi entered the British camp disguised as a dancer, drugged the guards, and rescued her. As they escaped, she was shot in the leg. She survived, but walked with a limp for the rest of her life. She called it her medal. When the war ended, the INA was dissolved. Her family had given away nearly everything they owned in support of the freedom movement. They returned to India with almost nothing. The girl who had once grown up in one of Rangoon’s richest homes spent her later years in a small rented room in Chennai, surrounded by photographs of Netaji. When the 2004 tsunami struck, she donated her freedom fighter’s pension to the relief fund. She died in 2018. One of the youngest spies of the Indian National Army spent her final years in quiet obscurity, remembered by few, despite giving both her wealth and her youth to India’s freedom. Follow for stories India deserves to remember.

It’s official! I have just got off the phone with my brother-in-law, Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar, and I simply cannot contain my immense pride and joy. He has just been appointed as the Army Commander of the prestigious Southern Command, effective July 1. To put this into perspective, there are only six operational commands in the entire Indian Army, and the Southern Command is by far the largest in terms of geographical coverage, spanning an enormous and strategically vital part of our nation. Knowing his military brilliance, his stellar record, and his absolute dedication to the uniform, I have no doubt that he will lead with the highest distinction. It is a moment of profound pride for our entire family, and a reassuring moment for the nation, to see such an exceptional and dedicated officer ascend to a position of such monumental responsibility. (The pic shows me with him and his wife Anu at his “pipping ceremony” when he became Major-General.) Please join me in wishing him the very best as he takes charge to serve and protect the nation in this new role. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳

7 Years, A Second Chance: Powered by Love, Grit, and Grace Today marks exactly 7 years since my kidney transplant on June 27, 2019. For anyone who has received an organ, this day isn't just an anniversary. It is a second chance at life. It is my true rebirth day. Before this miracle, I spent 17 long years on dialysis starting from 2002. To say it was a difficult period of my life would be an understatement. It was grueling. There were nights I underwent midnight dialysis, slept for barely 3 to 4 hours, and then headed straight to work the next morning. But I refused to let my condition define me or stop me. Throughout those heavy years, I managed a full-time, chequered career. I even founded "V Hikerz" and spent my weekends hiking the beautiful trails of the Sahyadris. I pushed my boundaries with so many other activities, choosing to live fully despite the challenges. None of this would be possible without my mother. At the age of 70, she selflessly donated her kidney to give me a new lease on life. Her love is infinite, and her strength is my ultimate inspiration. It has been an incredibly tough journey, but with the grace of God, I managed, and I managed well. Thank you to everyone who stood by me, and most of all, thank you to my amazing mother. Here is to 7 years of health, hope, and countless more peaks to climb! 🏔️✨ #KidneyTransplant #TransplantAnniversary #Gratitude #OrganDonation #Resilience #VHikerz #NewLife #Inspiration

The Morya landmark 1&2 office lane is crazy and a mess — the food stall are filthy all over washing cleaning serving — it’s a mess n both sides — so difficult to enter the lane — cards parked both sides / bikes all over … As it is there is work going one on the Main Street — I have seen the hawkers sent away within hrs they come back How does one function like this It’s impossible — When I spoke to a few ppl not to encourage these hawkers there — they said we don’t have drivers bringing us food for lunch and don’t have staff who cook for us — so we need a place to eat !!! Well if that’s the human reason they are left there — can it be designated place and clean — or penalised, fined, suspended anything atall — If they r going to stay there has to be a system — I refuse to believe the authorities can’t take any action and form a system and that the hawkers r not scared of being fined or removed. Something is missing here !!! In case this has missed the eye of our Corporator from that ward -@irupeshsawarkar - I sincerely request you to take a round Tom morning and I shall stand there with you to see if they come n will se what they say .. @AndheriLOCA - pls we need ur support here pls to bring it to their notice. I wound personally like to meet Rupesh ji and have a chat if possible. I have seen this scene recreated each day almost @mybmc if u too have missed this. Kindly take a look. @rohanrathodBJP @AmeetSatam

I'm just loving how Modi Sarkar is preparing ground for NRC😍 MEA has reflected legal position that, in Bharat, a passport is not proof of citizenship but only travel document AND Qs have started flowing on 'What's Citizenship Criteria'? Simple! It's NRC. U r a citizen if ur name appears in NRC. How can U get ur name in NRC?- Kagaz toh dikhane padenge😂 Some documents which can fulfill the criteria in simplest manner (same documents are proof of Citizenship too) -Birth certificate issued by a municipal authority. -School leaving certificate or matriculation certificate showing date and place of birth. -Domicile certificate issued by a state government. -Citizenship certificate or naturalization certificate (for people who acquired citizenship through registration or naturalization). -Documents relating to parents, such as their birth certificates, voter lists, or citizenship documents, if required. (PS: I have given a general list. Depending upon birth date, number of documents required may change). So where are we moving now? By initiating this debate, Modi Sarkar has started preperation of NRC all over Bharat. SIR is already laying the foundation. Now time for actual NRC. After NRC, a citizenship ID card will be issued to every bona fide citizen of Bharat! Is it a death blow for CHINDIs?- Ofcourse Yes. Afterall, their decades old efforts are going to go down the drains. I won't be surprised if Bharat's OFFICIAL population comes down to 130 Crores from present 145 Crores. What if CHINDIs try to mislead people?- For this, we must realise 'whom' are they going to mislead and when they start this agenda, just throw a basic fact on their dirty faces— Their beloved Bangladesh and Myanmar already have NRC and citizens get cards with Unique Identity Number. If no problem in Bangladesh, why a problem in Bharat? NRC is coming. One done...No card, No service, No benefit, No vote for Illegal Aliens. Next step- Deportations- Khatm, Tata, Bye Bye! .@AmitShah Ji in a great hurry. He wants to clear this mess before 2029. I had told you earlier that you will see Raudra Avtar of Mota Bhai after 1st June.

Writ Petition to be Filed Tomorrow Before Hon'ble Delhi High Court Seeking Action Against Derogatory Content With the blessings of Bhagwan Shri Ram and Bhagwan Shri Krishna, we will file tomorrow a Writ Petition before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court seeking removal of Dhruv Rathee’s highly derogatory video titled “Can Hindus Eat BEEF? | Kerala Story 2 EXPOSED”, which insults Bhagwan Shri Ram, Bhagwan Shri Krishna, Sita Mata and our sacred scriptures. Despite more than 2.5 months having passed, the Grievance Appellate Committee has still not decided our Appeal No. 8321/2026. The video continues to remain public. Along with this, we have also initiated criminal remedy and the Ld. CJM, Saket Courts has already called for Action Taken Report from the concerned SHO on our complaint against Dhruv Rathee. After exhausting all remedies under IT Rules, we are approaching the High Court. The petition will be listed after the court vacations. We seek immediate removal of this communally sensitive content. Last year, a kid was beaten up at a missionary school for greeting her principal with Radhe Radhe Principal Eva Colvins taped the child’s mouth for 15 minutes The child’s father filed a police case against the principal but she got bail the same day. He pulled the child out of that school @sewanyaya raised the matter to Human Rights Commission. @KanoongoPriyank took cognizance and held several hearings in the case The first impact of these hearings - school had been made to pay the child Rs 50000 as penalty This is the receipt of the transaction from last week It’s a rare such victory. All across India, institutes are getting away with beating Hindu kids for wearing tilak, kalawa etc, without any consequences Let no school, no institute, get away with such bigotry and cruelty. You can write to us contact@sewanyaya.in

🌟 A Proud Moment for Sanatan Dharma 🌟 I extend my heartfelt congratulations and deepest appreciation to Gauvansh Aakhada for organizing this beautiful and meaningful Spiritual Conclave, “Yudh se Buddh ki Aur”, Aadhyatmik Bharat@2047. I am especially grateful to Col. Mayank Chaubey (@col_chaubey) for extending the invitation and showing such kindness. Sir, this respect is truly too much for me. I feel deeply humbled and honoured to be a part of this sacred gathering. This is a very good initiative that beautifully blends spirituality, constitutional awareness, and the protection of our civilizational values. Bringing together dialogue, debate, and a clear call for the nationwide ban on cow slaughter and beef export is exactly what our nation needs today. As an Advocate of the Supreme Court and a proud daughter of Sanatan Dharma, I firmly believe that the path forward is not through chaos or violence, but through knowledge, law, unity, and consciousness. Events like this strengthen our resolve to protect Gau Mata and uphold Sanatan Dharma through constitutional and legal means. Let us all support this noble effort and work together towards making Bharat a truly Aadhyatmik Bharat by 2047, the Vishwa Guru once again. Jai Sanatan Dharma! Jai Gau Mata! Jai Bharat Mata! 14 June 2026, Constitution Club, New Delhi
