Incredible amount of misinformation in this interview, *still* attempting to deny or obfuscate ADF links with Islamic State. Everything is "mysterious" and "murky," while hard evidence is hand-waved away in favor of a fetishistic obsession with conspiracies. I don't get it.

I request the govt of Uganda to release my husband Dr Kizza Besigye from where he is being held immediately. He was kidnapped last Saturday while he was in Nairobi for Hon Martha Karua’s book launch. I am now reliably informed that he is in a military jail in Kampala. We his family and his lawyers demand to see him. He is not a soldier. @hofrench @nytopinion The samples from the market were collected in January 2020, but the virus was circulating for weeks before that, if not longer, no? During those weeks or perhaps months, the market was open for business. So I'm not sure how we can know the the market was the origin.

If you were in Bosnia then you know about the genocide in Srebrenica, July 1995 and how UN was unable to prevent 8372 from being slaughtered. Didn't it pain you to go to Kasese last year and not mention the genocide of 2016 that took place? Approximately 200 were killed by M7.

You end up vulgarizing the rule of law if you use it in the same sentence with the @KagutaMuseveni regime that @adoniaayebare represents. The people of Kasese have never received justice neither is there willingness and commitment by #NAM member states to uphold democratic principles, human rights and the rule of law.
