As a part of this year’s Semiquincentennial events, the America250 Time Capsule will be buried in Philadelphia on July 4th, and remained sealed until 2276. This capsule will serve as a lasting reminder of this great milestone. 🇺🇸

Little River Canyon is one of the most beautiful areas in Alabama and is extremely important to Northeast Alabama's economy and community - with over 800,000 visitors per year. I will continue to work to ensure the area remains protected for future generations.

His Majesty, King Charles III’s historic visit in our nation’s capital is a powerful reminder of the enduring relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom. I appreciate King Charles mentioning our joint defense partnership between our two nations and Australia, A.U.K.U.S. This is a partnership that I’ve helped foster in Congress and cohosted a symposium on in Huntsville just this past January.

Fifteen years ago today, Alabama faced one of its darkest days. More than 250 lives were lost in one of the worst tornado outbreaks in history. While we have rebuilt what was destroyed, we continue to grieve the friends, family members, and neighbors who were taken from us. We will never forget them or that day.

Very grateful that the President and all those at the White House Correspondents Dinner are safe, and that there are no reported injuries.
