@HardeepSPuri @TheSureshGopi @PetroleumMin @Secretary_MoPNG @IndianOilcl @HPCL @BPCLimited Petroleum Dealers across India need to seriously introspect the current viability of Retail Outlet operations. The numbers clearly show the reality: 2018 Scenario: MS Margin: 4.31% on ₹76.56 HSD Margin: 3.28% on ₹70.00 2026 Scenario: MS Margin: 3.94% on ₹98.96 HSD Margin: 2.56% on ₹92.09 Despite fuel prices continuously rising, dealer margins in % terms are continuously shrinking. What Dealers have actually suffered: • Capital erosion • Margin erosion • Huge increase in manpower cost • Higher electricity & operational expenses • Increased compliance burden • Bank interest & finance cost escalation • Rising competition due to excessive RO saturation Today, Retail Outlets are surviving on volume, not profitability. Fixed per-litre margins are no longer sustainable in the present economic environment. If fuel prices continue to rise further while dealer commissions remain stagnant, the day is not far when Dealers will have to fund operations from their personal savings merely to keep outlets functional. Therefore, there is an urgent need to shift Dealer Commission from “per litre basis” to a “percentage linked model” so that dealer sustainability moves proportionately with inflation and fuel pricing dynamics. If legitimate concerns of Dealers continue to remain unheard, then Petroleum Dealers across India must collectively consider: • Smart operational restructuring • Curtailment of operational hours • Weekly offs for Retail Outlets • Cost optimisation measures No business can survive indefinitely with rising liabilities and declining real margins. This is not merely a demand — it is a question of survival, sustainability and operational dignity for thousands of fuel retail entrepreneurs across India. #PetrolPumpDealers #DealerMargin #FuelRetail #PetroleumSector #MS #HSD #RetailOutlet #India #FuelEconomy @PMOIndia @narendramodi @neerajmittalias @RahulGandhi @ETEnergyWorld @IndianPSUs

Well done @DoPTGoI and @UPGovt. A truly textbook demonstration of how institutional accountability can gracefully travel in circles without ever actually arriving anywhere. A complaint against IAS officer @Deepak_150786, erstwhile @DmMeerut and presently posted as @Dm_Gorakhpur, exercising quasi-judicial powers in the @NHAI_Official arbitration matter, was formally escalated through proper channels. Quite naturally, one expected an independent administrative examination into the conduct, decision-making process and judicial propriety involved. But the system, in its infinite administrative wisdom, appears to have discovered a far more innovative mechanism of justice — forwarding the complaint against the District Magistrate to a junior subordinate officer of the same establishment for “comments” and eventual closure. Efficiency at its finest. The closure reasoning, interestingly, states that the complainant has already exhausted legal remedies against the arbitral award. Fascinating logic indeed. Since when did judicial challenge against an order become immunity against examining the conduct behind passing such an order in the first place? The issue was never merely about the award. The issue is why the award reached a stage where judicial intervention became necessary at all. Why were material evidences allegedly ignored despite already being on record? Why did the Hon’ble Court itself observe such aspects? Was it an unfortunate oversight, administrative convenience, deliberate disregard, or simple incompetence masquerading as authority? Surely, in a constitutional democracy governed by Rule of Law, these questions deserve something more substantial than an internally recycled closure note. And while files move elegantly from one table to another, perhaps someone may also explain: • Who accounts for the mental harassment caused to citizens? • Who compensates for precious years, resources and litigation costs wasted? • Who bears responsibility for burdening the judiciary unnecessarily? • And most importantly, who answers for the financial implications and interest burden eventually falling upon the State exchequer due to such conduct? Or perhaps accountability, too, has now become subject to administrative forwarding hierarchy. One must admire the institutional creativity though — when complaints against authority are examined through the comfort of subordinate structures, outcomes rarely risk becoming inconvenient. Nevertheless, faith in institutions demands optimism. Hopefully, someday, “quasi-judicial responsibility” will mean more than merely holding designation and signing papers, and accountability will travel slightly beyond procedural formalities and ceremonial closures. Until then, the citizens shall continue learning that exhausting legal remedies apparently resolves everything — except the original misconduct itself. @PMOIndia @RahulGandhi @CMOfficeUP @myogiadityanath @ChiefSecyUP @CJP_2029 @AmarUjalaNews @JagranNews @ANINewsUP @InfoDeptUP

Well frankly speaking, Hon. @narendramodi Ji, it is time India adopts a transparent & balanced national approach towards emerging energy security challenges rather than placing disproportionate pressure on petroleum dealerships. India already imports nearly 90% of its crude oil requirement, making the nation highly vulnerable to geopolitical disruptions, freight volatility & global price shocks. Multiple recent reports have highlighted rising import dependence, stress on OMCs, and the growing pressure on fuel supply economics. (Reuters) At present, #OMCs are issuing notices and showcause actions against dealerships for bulk sales — whether to farmers, transporters or genuine consumers — while dealers are simultaneously expected to maintain uninterrupted supply, absorb customer outrage, infuse additional working capital during price spikes, and survive on shrinking operational viability. This dual pressure is neither sustainable nor equitable. If India is entering a phase of fuel conservation, supply optimisation or strategic energy balancing, then the same should be communicated transparently to the public through a structured national advisory instead of creating fear and uncertainty at dealership level. Possible national measures worth considering: • Public fuel conservation awareness campaigns • Promotion of Strong Hybrids, Flex-Fuel, Ethanol & EV transition • Rational operational optimisation for fuel outlets nationwide • Incentives for reduced wastage & efficient fuel consumption • Strategic buffer & emergency preparedness communication • Policy clarity on bulk fuel sales to avoid arbitrary harassment Dealers cannot be treated as both the shock absorbers of global energy volatility and the easiest targets for enforcement simultaneously. A transparent policy framework, consumer awareness & coordinated national energy strategy will serve India far better than selective punitive action on dealerships struggling to balance compliance, consumer expectations & survival. @PMOIndia @PetroleumMin @Secretary_MoPNG @neerajmittalias @IndianOilcl @HPCL @BPCLimited @RahulGandhi @Reuters @htTweets @HardeepSPuri @ETEnergyWorld @IndianPSUs

Hon. @narendramodi Ji, Amid ongoing geopolitical instability and volatile crude markets, India should consider a practical “Fuel Security & Consumption Optimisation Policy” with nationwide implementation. 1️⃣ Alongside BEVs, India must aggressively promote Strong Hybrids (HEVs) & PHEVs, as they offer superior real-world mileage, lower fuel consumption, higher practicality in Indian conditions & lesser charging dependency. 2️⃣ Registration waivers, targeted subsidies & rationalised electricity tariffs should be extended for BEVs & PHEVs to accelerate adoption and reduce crude import dependence substantially. 3️⃣ A nationwide policy for rationalised Retail Outlet operating hours may also be considered instead of the present 24x7 culture, alongside mandatory weekly off/rotational holidays for ROs. Such measures can reduce avoidable fuel consumption, optimise logistics/manpower utilisation & also create greater fuel sensitivity amongst consumers during uncertain global energy conditions. 4️⃣ India should additionally explore decentralised Strategic Petroleum Reserve support by utilising existing Retail Outlet land & infrastructure through vertical storage integration. With nearly 1 lakh ROs across the nation, an additional emergency reserve network can be developed at comparatively lower cost. A balanced India-first strategy combining conservation, hybrids, EV transition & strategic reserves can significantly strengthen national energy security and economic stability. @PMOIndia @MORTHIndia @siamindia @HardeepSPuri @PetroleumMin @Secretary_MoPNG @IndianOilcl @HPCL @BPCLimited @RahulGandhi @ETEnergyWorld @htTweets @IndianPSUs @PsuWatch @NITIAayog @FinMinIndia @PTI_News @ANI @Reuters @rashtrapatibhvn

RELAX EVERYONE. IT'S JUST THEATRICS. CAN MAMATA REFUSE TO RESIGN? NO. Constitutionally, Article 172 fixes the Assembly’s five-year term, indirectly framing the tenure of a Chief Minister. Article 164 makes it explicit that the Chief Minister holds office during the pleasure of the Governor. In practice, that pleasure is contingent on majority support in the Assembly. Without numbers, continuation in office is untenable. Once results are notified, the Governor can invite the majority party to form the government, at which point she's history.
