Teddy Afro's Private Studio Raided by Armed Men in Federal Police Uniforms: Confiscated Equipment Puts the Artist's Intellectual Property at Risk The ongoing pressure and harassment directed at the legendary Ethiopian singer Tewodros Kassahun, widely known as Teddy Afro, have escalated to a dangerously unlawful level. Eyewitnesses and close sources have confirmed that armed individuals wearing Federal Police uniforms and driving Federal Police vehicles forcibly broke into the singer's private studio and office located in the CMC area. A Nighttime Raid and Assault This illegal and forceful intrusion reportedly occurred yesterday, around 9:00 PM local time. Reports indicate that the armed men severely beat the building's security guard to force their way into the premises. By completely bypassing standard legal procedures and the requirement for a court-issued search warrant, this violent nighttime raid on a private citizen's workspace has raised serious alarms regarding the integrity of the country's justice system and the overall safety of its citizens. Severe Threat to Unreleased Intellectual Property Beyond the physical violence and property damage, the most critical aspect of this incident lies in the contents of the studio and the specific items taken. This space serves as Teddy Afro's primary office and highly confidential creative sanctuary where he produces his work, stores unreleased music and lyrics, and archives his new concepts. The studio houses numerous highly valuable intellectual properties. According to newly confirmed information, the intruders confiscated two laptops, speakers, music production equipment, and various other studio accessories. Because these seized laptops and production tools contain the artist's unreleased works and private creative files, the threat posed to his intellectual property is now of grave concern. Targeted Intimidation Campaign Legal experts and arts commentators are refusing to treat this incident as a routine robbery or standard police search. Following the recent arrest of Teddy Afro's deputy manager and close friend, Mr. Yusuf Yassin, who remains detained without any formal charges, this attack on the heart of the artist's creative space is being strongly condemned. Analysts describe it as a systematic, deliberate campaign of intimidation aimed at obstructing his artistic output, seizing his unreleased projects, and inflicting severe psychological pressure on the singer. Public demands are rapidly mounting for the government and relevant Federal Police officials to provide an immediate and transparent explanation regarding this violent act committed under the guise of law enforcement and the severe endangerment of the beloved artist's intellectual property.

SHOCKING: 100’s of thousands of Ethiopian Christians gather in an unapologetic explosion of faith. While the godless West dies in atheism, Ethiopia rises as an UNSTOPPABLE force for Christianity.

🚨From the moment they set foot in #Ethiopia, #Oromos have built their future by tearing others down, using unimaginable cruelty and large-scale destruction. What we are seeing now is simply the continuation of that same mentality. This is happening right now in the #Amhara region as we speak.

The African continent has seen some of the world's most dramatic health transformations. Despite vast differences in geography and wealth, these top 10 African nations with the highest increases in life expectancy share a "social health" model and “prevention first” strategy. They all prioritised things like universal vaccine coverage and access to clean water over high-tech specialised health – at least in the initial stages. Rwanda, which is leading this shift is Rwanda, saw a dramatic drop in life after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Its leap is attributed to the country's universal health insurance system—which covers over 90% of the population—and a sharp reduction in child mortality. Algeria and Malawi follow, driven by massive public health investments and successful infectious disease control. -Sources: Visual Capitalist, UN World Population Prospects (2024/2026 Revisions), and World Bank Data.

The world is celebrating Christmas, but in Ethiopia, the same silent horrific massacres of ethnic Amharas has continued unabated. Worse they are trying to gaslight the people into settling for everlasting suffering by derailing their only way out to their survival. It is truly sad! End #AmharaGenocide #ForwardFano

The attacks are being carried out by Oromia Special Forces, Oromia Geda Qerro Special Forces, Repi OLA, and Gachena Sirna militias. Hundreds of homes belonging to more than 670 Amhara civilians have been burned down in Indododicho and Hashober towns alone. Alongside the widespread destruction, Amhara civilians are being massacred in gruesome acts of violence. In one particularly horrific incident in Indododicho Kebele, an Amhara mother and her four children were hacked to death with machetes. Residents told Ethio Focus News that prior to the attack, Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) withdrew from Angerguten and handed over security control to Oromia regional forces. Before leaving, ENDF reportedly instructed residents to flee the area with their children and belongings. This sequence of events strongly suggests that the destruction of these Amhara-inhabited towns was sanctioned by top federal and Oromia Region officials. When Oromia regional forces launched their attack on December 20, Amhara residents initially managed to defend themselves, inflicting heavy losses and temporarily pushing the attackers out of the towns. However, ENDF later returned with mechanized units and Zu-23 anti-aircraft weapons and launched an assault on Amhara defenders. This intervention enabled Oromia regional forces to re-enter the towns, resume the massacre of Amhara civilians, and continue the systematic destruction of homes. Amhara residents who appealed to ENDF for protection as their homes were being burned were reportedly told that stopping the attacks was “beyond ENDF’s control.” The destruction of Indododicho and Hashober Kebeles has now entered its fifth consecutive day. In Ali Kebele, more than 216 Amhara children, mothers, and elders have been abducted by Oromia regional forces. An additional 150 people have reportedly been abducted in Indododicho Kebele. Their whereabouts remain unknown. Residents from Ali, Hashober, and Indododicho Kebeles who fled into nearby areas report that two children are missing and are feared to have been killed by wild animals. The remaining displaced residents have been hiding in the jungle for five days without access to food or water. The Amhara population is urgently calling on the international community and human rights organizations to intervene, protect civilians, and assist those stranded and at risk.

The African Union, once conceived as custodian of peace, unity, and sovereignty across the continent, has regrettably descended into irrelevance and moral compromise. Its recent decision to involve itself in a fake “peace agreement” within the Amhara region—brokered with an inconsequential individual lacking legitimacy and a regime bereft of integrity—underscores the magnitude of its institutional decay. Such a charade does not advance peace; it merely lends undeserved legitimacy to a government defined by repression and systematic deception. Having previously served within the United Nations system and having worked directly with the African Union, it has been profoundly disheartening to witness the AU’s steady retreat from principle, competence, and credibility. Time and again, the organization has failed to act decisively where its presence has been most needed—from Darfur and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the Sahel, South Sudan, and beyond. Today, it seeks to mislead the international community with the illusion of diplomacy, claiming to have “mediated or observed” peace in the Amhara region. This exercise in political theater is even less defensible than the so‑called Pretoria Agreement it mediated and at least involved two recognized parties—the Ethiopian government and the TPLF. By endorsing and legitimizing a patently contrived process, the African Union has once again betrayed the values it was established to defend. Its actions erode confidence not only in the institution itself but also in the notion of African‑led solutions to African crises. Equally troubling is the conduct of IGAD, whose credibility has collapsed under the weight of compromised leadership. That the bloc is currently led by a figure implicated in serious human rights violations, including the killing of peaceful demonstrators during his tenure as head of the brutal Ethiopia’s internal security forces, renders any pretense of impartiality untenable. Any statement from an organization led by a UCH individual can not have any credence. The AU and IGAD must recognize that by endorsing fabricated processes and aligning themselves with discredited regime, they do not serve peace—they desecrate it. Until both institutions confront their failures and commit to genuine, transparent engagement grounded in legitimacy and human rights, they will continue to stand as symbols not of African unity, but of its betrayal. @antonioguterres, @marcorubio @AlJazeera @BBCAfrica @SABCNews

While fireworks bloom over Dubai’s perfect deserts, the skies over Darfur, Amhara and eastern Congo are stained with the smoke of villages burned to ash. In Sudan, the Rapid Support Forces armed, fuelled and quietly bankrolled by Emirati gold and weapons continue their campaign of slaughter and starvation. In Ethiopia, drones and munitions that bear the fingerprints of Abu Dhabi have rained down on civilians who dared to demand bread and freedom. In the forests of the DRC, the same shadowy supply chains that keep Gulf palaces cool with African minerals now keep militias rich with bullets. #BoycottUAE #uaesponsorsterrorism #UAE_sponsors_terrorism_in_Sudan #UAEsponsorsAmharaGenocide

Reports of Continued Killings of Christians in Ethiopia’s Arsi Region Draw Condemnation from Oriental Orthodox Churches (IN BOLD) Reports continue to emerge from multiple media outlets detailing the ongoing killings of Christians in Ethiopia’s Arsi region. Witnesses describe brutal attacks targeting members of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, part of a disturbing pattern of religious persecution that has alarmed faith leaders and human rights organizations alike. In response, the Standing Conference of Oriental Orthodox Churches has issued a formal statement condemning these atrocities and expressing solidarity with the victims. The statement reaffirms support for His Holiness Abune Mathias I, Patriarch and Catholicos of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, and calls upon all peace-loving nations, religious institutions, and moral leaders to unite in denouncing these crimes and to work toward justice, reconciliation, and lasting peace in Ethiopia. The Conference emphasized that attacks on any faith community are an affront to the sanctity of human life and urged the Ethiopian government to take immediate action to protect its citizens and ensure accountability for those responsible @WhiteHouse, @StateDept, @USEmbassyAddis, @UAEthio, @UNOSAPG, @VP, @realDonaldTrump, @TheIRD, @StateDRL, @AsstSecStateAF, @richghazal, @markdtooley, @OrthodoxyNews, @indefchristians, @RepJohnJames, @housegop, @Repsarajacobs, @YoungKimCA, @RepJimBaird, @RepMillsPress, @RepGaramendi, @IMFNews, @JusticeOfficeUS, @WorldBank, @WorldBankAfrica, @StateIRF, @USCIRF, @IrfSecretariat, @Sean_ADFIntl,@SenMarcoRubio, @RubenGallego, @ElissaSlotkin, @AndyKimNJ,@AdamSchiff, @CEXAlsobrooks,@CurtisUT,@RepGaramendi,@RepSaraJacobs, @RepJimBaird, @RepYoungKim, @RepMillsPress, @CongresswomanSC @michaelgwaltz,@RepMarkWalker,@RepRileyMoore,@TomColeOk04,@HouseAppropsGOP
