No @JEChalmers - its not the higher tax on super that people are really concerned about. Its taxing people on unrealised gains that is the issue. Its blatantly unfair, indeed unconscionable, and will be a huge blocker to investment and economic growth. It will also cause considerable hardship for many people who saved for their retirement. Go ahead and propose higher taxes if you must, but don't upend principles of fairness in the tax system.
