Our voices will never be silenced, and we will continue to demand justice because Banyamulenge and Tutsi communities in Congo deserve the same equal rights, dignity, freedom, and protection as every other Congolese citizen. The blockade and persecution carried out by the Kinshasa regime and its coalition with the Burundian regime, FDLR, and Wazalendo militias continue to bring suffering and violence against innocent civilians while the world and the United Nations remain silent. Every day we cry out for justice, yet no one answers, but we will never give up because we have the right to live, to exist, and to defend ourselves. We refuse to put our necks forward to be slaughtered and erased, and no matter how long it takes, our struggle for justice, survival, and freedom will continue.

Qui a parlé d’un avion ? @pbaseka Le terme “convoi” ne renvoie pas automatiquement à un transport aérien ; dans ce contexte, il s’agissait clairement d’un déplacement terrestre vers Minembwe. D’ailleurs, le dernier convoi humanitaire de la croix rouge vers Minembwe est passé par la route. D’après mes souvenirs pour aller à Minembwe en voiture, il faut obligatoirement passer par Point Zéro . Malheureusement, @pbaseka préfèrent déformer les faits et commenter sans même comprendre le message, tout cela simplement pour chercher à plaire au régime criminel de Kinshasa.

Je suis sur la liste des panelistes et je devais aborder la question des restrictions des libertés d'expression, d'opinion et d'entrave au travail des journalistes. While some Congolese are distracted by trivial controversies, and unnecessary topics, M23 rebels and Rwandan soldiers in the eastern DR Congo town of Uvira have committed serious crimes, executing more than 50 people and raping at least eight women during an illegal occupation.

For the last two days Minembwe is under relentless attacks from the Congo government coalition forces. This is happening while we (AFC) are withdrawing as a sign of good faith to give chance to peace talks. This conflict continues to expose the challenges of the mediation and the importance of impartial diplomacy. As the United States calls on AFC forces to withdraw from liberated areas, questions are increasingly being raised about whether equal pressure is being applied to all actors involved in the conflict. These attacks on Minembwe by the government have fueled concerns of a one-sided mediation. Peace cannot be achieved if international actors condemn one side while remaining silent when the other side escalates military operations. Successful mediation depends on credibility. A mediator must be seen as neutral, fair, and committed to holding all parties accountable under the same standards. When pressure is selectively applied, trust erodes, and parties become less willing to engage sincerely in dialogue. This perception of double standards can deepen divisions and prolong instability rather than encourage compromise. The people of eastern Congo have suffered decades of violence, displacement, and insecurity. What they need now is a balanced peace process that prioritizes civilian protection and addresses the actions of every armed actor equally. If the United States wishes to play a constructive role in resolving the crisis, it must demonstrate consistency in its approach and condemn violations regardless of who commits them. Impartiality is not weakness in mediation — it is the foundation of trust.
