*Why Pope Leo XIV’s Anti-Combat Comments Were Theologically Shallow — and Dangerously Political* Criticisms continue to trail Pope Leo XIV Palm Sunday remarks after the 267th Pontifex stated: “This our God: Jesus, King of Peace, who rejects war, whom no one can use to justify war, He does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war, but rejects them.” Leo’s speech, many believe, was targeted at US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth who prayed for “wisdom in every decision, endurance for the trial ahead, unbreakable unity, and overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy.” The sly rebuke, which made international headlines, has drawn serious scrutiny, casting the Chicago-born pontifex in the light of predecessors who meddled heavily in politics and frolicked with far-left liberalism. From the same Bible which the pontiff drew his aspersions, there exist Moses and Joshua, recorded to have led the Israelites into divinely sanctioned combat. Records also show David as a warrior king and the author of 150 Psalms now generously recycled in the Catholic Liturgy of the Hours. Ironically, the Pope—just like America under Trump— sufficiently acknowledges existential threat to its papacy in choosing to fortify both the Vatican and its signature popemobile with layers of security. If deterrence and self-preservation are morally legitimate for the Bishop of Rome, the theological grounds on which the logic exists must be extended to a nation of 330 million people and the only Jewish state currently faced with adversarial threat from a regime widely known as the world’s leading state sponsor for terrorism. Nations carry both the right and the obligation to defend their citizens. Soldiers carry a tradition of prayer that predates the current pontificate by millennia. Secretary Hegseth’s invocation of faith at the Pentagon stands within a tradition as old as Christendom itself — one the Church, for most of its history, did not merely tolerate but actively endorsed. Pope Leo XIV leads one of the world’s most consequential institutions. That office commands genuine respect. But such respect becomes severely eroded when the office weaponizes the scriptures to justify geopolitical commentary. @Pontifex @VaticanNews @WWERomanReigns @realDonaldTrump @PeteHegseth @JDVance @marcorubio @netanyahu @IDF @DeptofWar @StateDept @CNN @FoxNews @SkyNewsAust @SpeakerJohnson @HouseGOP @SenateGOP @10DowningStreet @UKParliament @OANN @NEWSMAX @nypost @washingtonpost @Reuters @CBSNews @NBCNews @DonaldJTrumpJr @USATODAY @ABC @UN

UNMASKED KILLERS IN JOS: WILL JUSTICE SPEAK OR STAY SILENT? The killings in Jos were not carried out in secrecy. Videos circulating online clearly show the perpetrators, their faces uncovered, their actions undeniable. This is not a case lacking evidence. It is a moment that demands urgent and decisive action. At the same time, there are recent incidents where perpetrators operated in broad daylight on busy roads, killing someone openly, with their faces clearly captured in circulating videos. These cases, though separate from the Palm Sunday attack, reinforce a troubling pattern: crimes being committed openly, with little immediate consequence. Nigeria has handled similar situations before. In cases like the aftermath of the End SARS protests, video footage and digital trails were used to identify individuals across different locations. Security agencies have also relied on similar methods to track suspects involved in kidnappings and violent attacks across the country. The tools exist. The precedent is clear. What is required now is urgency. The Federal Government must direct security agencies to act swiftly, thoroughly investigating the numerous killings, while also leveraging available video evidence in other related incidents to identify, track, and arrest those responsible. The evidence is there. Delay only weakens public confidence and emboldens wrongdoing. More importantly, this is not just about justice for victims. It is about prevention. When those who commit such acts, whether in coordinated attacks or in open public spaces, are tracked and arrested, it sends a clear warning to anyone planning similar evil. It tells them that there are consequences, that they will be found, and that they will face the law. They must be tracked. They must be arrested. And it must happen in a way that deters every future act of violence waiting to be conceived. @realDonaldTrump @JDVance @marcorubio @PeteHegseth @StateDept @DeptofWar @officialABAT @SenateGOP @NGRPresident @NGRSenate @MikeArnoldTruth @RepRileyMoore @SenTedCruz @UN @10DowningStreet @UKParliament @EmmanuelMacron @elonmusk @Reuters @CNN @SkyNews @BBCNews @SkyNewsAust @ARISEtv @channelstv @seanhannity @AIT_Online @nytimes @washingtonpost @netanyahu @IDF @euronews @OANN @NBCNews @CBSNews @SpeakerJohnson @amnesty @POTUS @TPUSA @SenateDems @HouseGOP @NEWSMAX @FoxNews @JesseBWatters @USATODAY @hrw

DISGRACEFUL: ENGLISH FA SET TO SANCTION AWONIYI OVER “GOD IS THE GREATEST” SHIRT An imminent sanction by the English Football Association (EFA) on Taiwo Awonyi has sparked massive backlash after the Nottingham Forest skipper celebrated a decisive victory over Tottenham with the shirt inscription “God is the Greatest.” Awoniyi, who scored in the 87th minute to seal a relegation-saving winner, is the latest in a series of clampdowns against Christian players’ support for Christianity by the EFA. Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo, Marc Guéhi of Manchester City, and Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus have all received warnings from the EFA for displaying messages such as “I love Jesus” and “I belong to Jesus.” While the EFA claims to be enforcing Law 4.5 of the International Football Association, it has had players bend the knee for “Black Lives Matter,” forced players to use pro-LGBT equipment, and offered special treatment to Muslims solely on account of their faith. With the FA now mandating live-game pauses for Muslim players to break their Ramadan fast, many fans have criticised the decision as hypocrisy and a subtle pandering to Islamism. “Why should coaches know if players are doing Ramadan? Back in my day, I wasn’t asked whether you are doing Ramadan or not. We are in a secular country, normally religion must remain in the private sphere. Will the coach see the Catholics and ask them if they are doing Lent? Why wasn’t this Ramadan question asked 20 years ago?..”ex-Arsenal and French midfielder, Samir Nasri, added in condemnation of the FA fast-breaks. @premierleague @EnglandFootball @euronews @UKHouseofLords @espn @SInow @HouseofCommons @10DowningStreet @FIFAcom @ukhomeoffice @UKLabour @Conservatives @sport @SportingCP @mrgnsports @Sports @sportv @cnnsport @SkySportsPL @BBCSport3CR @FOXSports @AJENews @NBCSports @CBSSports @OANN

THE SAVE AMERICA ACT: WHY SENATE LEADERSHIP MUST ACT NOW FOR ELECTION INTEGRITY The integrity of elections remains one of the most fundamental pillars of democratic governance, and maintaining public confidence in electoral outcomes is essential for long term stability. The Save America Act, having already passed the House of Representatives and now sitting with the Senate, represents a key opportunity to address ongoing concerns about how elections are conducted. In recent election cycles, allegations of irregularities, including claims involving inaccurate voter rolls and instances of improper or duplicate voting, have contributed to public skepticism. Whether isolated or widespread, such concerns highlight the need for clearer standards and stronger safeguards, placing responsibility squarely on Senate leadership to ensure the issue is taken seriously and addressed through legislative action. A central argument in favor of the Save America Act is its emphasis on Voter ID, proof of citizenship and mail in ballot for only the military, sickness or travels, hence reinforcing election security and transparency. Provisions commonly associated with such legislation include stronger verification processes, improved voter roll accuracy, and clearer auditing procedures. These measures are designed not only to prevent potential irregularities but also to reassure the public that elections are conducted fairly and consistently. When trust in election systems is questioned, even in the absence of definitive conclusions, it can weaken confidence in democratic institutions, and advancing this bill gives Senate leadership the opportunity to directly respond to those concerns. With the Act already before the Senate, the moment calls for leadership that prioritizes action and accountability. Senate leadership holds the authority to ensure that the bill is debated, passed and sent to the President's desk for his signature. Republican Senate Leader John Thune and his team are encouraged to rise to the occasion. By passing the bill, they not only address concerns about election integrity but also uphold the Senate’s institutional responsibility to engage with critical issues and ensure illegal immigrants do not vote in American elections. In doing so, they can help strengthen both public confidence in elections and trust in the democratic system as a whole. @LeaderJohnThune @SenateGOP @SenMikeLee @JohnCornyn @SenTedCruz @SenRonJohnson @MarshaBlackburn @realDonaldTrump @JDVance @FoxNews @cnnbrk @Reuters @AP @SkyNewsBreak @RSBNetwork @nytimes @washingtonpost @BBCBreaking @OANN @WSJ @TeamTrump @GOP @seanhannity @JesseBWatters @CBSNews @PressSec @Newsweek @NEWSMAX @Independent @guardian @BreitbartNews @VOANews @DailyMail @TheSun @NBCNews @ABC @USATODAY @MAGAVoice @marcorubio @DonaldJTrumpJr @POTUS45 @Pres

CAF AFCON RULING: A STAIN ON AFRICAN FOOTBALL The decision of the Confederation of African football (CAF) to upturn Senegal’s victory at the 35th edition of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament has sparked a wave of global condemnation and criticisms for the Patrice Moetsepe-led body. The CAF appeal committee, on Tuesday, awarded second-place and host nation, Morrocco, a 3 - 0 victory citing Article 84 of CAF regulations which punishes teams for walking out of play during match time. Repeated unprofessional ball-boy conduct, a disallowed goal and a controversial extra-time penalty in favour of Morocco, were the hallmarks of a tense mid-January final game that saw members of the Senegal team walk off the pitch at the 98th minute in protest of a slew of sloppy officiating by referee Jean-Jacques Ndala. “Football is won on the pitch and not behind a desk” ex-Liverpool skipper, Jamie Carragher reacted. Chelsea and Côte d’Ivoire legend, Didier Drogba: “Things like this only happen in Africa. I’m not sure this would happen in the Euros. It’s a disgrace to Africa and football. A country like this shouldn’t be allowed to host a football tournament again. Senegal is the real winner — we all know.” “How can we restore African supporters’ trust in their CAF? How can we reaffirm our legitimacy without further weakening our institution?” Samuel Eto added. The Senegalese football federation have now filed an appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) over the ruling which mirrors the deep-rotted level of corruption pervading corners of the continent making it the most underdeveloped continent on earth. CAF must rescind its arm-chair ruling and investigate all panelists’ involved in the ruling for the greater interest of preserving the prestige of African football. @FIFAcom @CAF_Media @fifamedia @CAF_Online @MoroccoWNews @RTS1_Senegal @BBCSport @espn @_AfricanUnion @SkySports @cnnsport @FOXSportsMX @FRANCE24 @SportsCenter @Sports @FIFAWorldCup @Eurosport_TR @ONTimeSports @sportv @RMCsport @sport

GO HOME IMMEDIATELY! TRUMP TELLS JUNKETING TINUBU AS MAIDUGURI BOMB BLAST KILLS 23 Over 23 persons have been reportedly killed with 108 others injured after Boko Haram suicide bombers attacked the city of Maiduguri, Northeast Nigeria. The attack which took place at 19:24PM across at three separate locations— the post-office area, the Maiduguri teaching hospital, and the Maiduguri Monday market has drawn global condemnation, including from the President of the United States, Donald Trump, who described it as a “total disaster.” Trump spared no words in criticising Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for “shaking hands” and enjoying “fancy diners” in a UK state visit while “people are being blown up.” Since Tinubu took office, over 20,000 Nigerians have lost their lives due to insecurity created by Islamic terrorism. Its already impoverished citizens have had to spend over $1.4billion in ransom payments to kidnappers since 2023. And with the nation further plunging over 100 million of its population into multi-dimensional poverty due to fiscal and economic recklessness, the ruling APC government appears to have all its focus on wooing voters with foodstuffs and electronics giveaways ahead of the 2027 election. “Get on a plane and go home immediately,” Trump advised Tinubu, “You don’t stay abroad during a crisis like this. A real leader is on the ground with the military and the people, not cutting ribbons in London.” @officialABAT @10DowningStreet @femigbaja @HouseofCommons @UKHouseofLords @ukhomeoffice @DonaldTrump @SkyNews @cnnbrk @BBCNews @SkyNewsAust @euronews @JDVance @marcorubio @StateDept @Europarl_EN @FRANCE24 @OANN @elonmusk @DonaldJTrumpJr @SenateGOP @SenateDems @HouseGOP @HouseDemocrats @SpeakerJohnson @LeaderJohnThune @nytimes @washingtonpost @Reuters @AP @hrw @amnesty @NGRPresident @NGRSenate @NigeriaGov @HQNigerianArmy @PoliceNG @ARISEtv @channelstv @AIT_Online @OjyOkpe @seanhannity @USATODAY @UN @ntane

NIGERIA-UK STATE VISIT: BRITAIN MUST QUIZ TINUBU ON CHRISTIAN KILLINGS There has been growing calls for the UK to confront Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over the incessant killing of Christians in the northern part of the country, The calls follow Tinubu’s planned state visit to the United Kingdom, on Wednesday. Tinubu and his wife, Oluremi, is scheduled to be received by King Charles at the Windsor Castle before proceeding to Downing Street to meet PM Keir Starmer. Since ceding colonial rule in 1960 and subsequently aiding the massacre of over 3 million South-Easterners in the 1967 Civil war, Britain has maintained limited intervention in its diplomatic relationship with Nigeria. As the global head of the Anglican church, it has sat on its hands for decades as Islamic-extremism increasingly suffocates the nation's secularism to the detriment of Christians. Over 200,000 Christians have died at the hands of Boko Haram, Fulani Herdsmen, ISWAP plus other Islamic terrorist groups since 2009. Prominent cases include the livestreamed lynching and razing of Deborah in 2022 by pro-Jihad undergraduates, murder of street preacher Deaconess Eunice in 2016, the Owo church massacre in 2022 which saw the bloodied body of over 40 worshippers litter the pews and aisles, and the livestreamed terror attack on Christ Apostolic Church, Kwara state, last year among countless others. Nigeria accounts for 80% of all kidnap and killing of priests, No country on earth sheds as much Christian blood, in recent times, as Nigeria. But it is unlikely Britain's condemnation, or lack of it, will make much difference. Under Starmer, Britain has become the Western Headquarters for Sharia law—-the same under which Deborah was murdered—and Britons passionate about their country who hold strong Christian faith, are labelled “far-right.” Still, it would be one for the records to see where Britain stands on the issue of Christain genocide in Nigeria, and more importantly if it can take a cue from Nigeria in its fight against Islamic terrorism. @Keir_Starmer @10DowningStreet @HouseofCommons @UKHouseofLords @ukhomeoffice @realDonaldTrump @JDVance @marcorubio @officialABAT @NGRPresident @NGRSenate @SPNigeria @SenateGOP @SenateDems @HouseGOP @HouseDemocrats @LeaderJohnThune @RepRileyMoore @SenTedCruz @BBCNews @SkyNewsAust @CNN @FoxNews @Reuters @GazetteNGR @ARISEtv @channelstv @AIT_Online @OjyOkpe @seanhannity @JesseBWatters @cnnbrk @SkyNewsBreak @OfficialAPCNg @OfficialPDPNig @MikeArnoldTruth @elonmusk @TPUSA @AP @OANN @washingtonpost @nytimes @nypost @NBCNews @CBSNews @EmmanuelMacron @_FriedrichMerz @GiorgiaMeloni

“UK FOUNDED BY GENIUSES, NOW RUN BY IDIOTS”- SEN KENNEDY BLASTS STARMER Louisiana Republican Senator, John Kennedy, has gone viral after offering a scathing criticism of the current UK government as being “run by idiots”. Senator Kennedy’s comments follow on the heels of US President Donald Trump’s comments on Keir Starmer, in which he stated “this is not Churchill we are dealing with.” Trump’s comments came after the UK Prime Minister refused US military access to its RAF base in Diego Garcia, forcing B-2 pilots to undertake a gruesome 36-hour flight back to Missouri. With “Operation Epic Fury” now entering its 11th day, Trump has notified Starmer that the decision to finally send its warship, HMS Dragon, only yesterday is a little too late and perhaps “no longer needed.” Starmer’s cold-feeted unco-operativeness has not gone unnoticed by Washington even as cracks to the ‘special relationship’ between both nations loom. As the US battled to destroy Iran’s nuclear capability, Starmer cosied up to pro-Ayatollah Islamists at the Big Iftar in Tilford, proudly declaring the UK’s lack of participation in the attacks. Today, the Bank of England declared it will replace images of Britain’s finest statesman and World War II hero, Winston Churchill on the five pound note with hedgehogs and Otters. This follows after statue of the veteran was vandalised, last week, by pro-Palestinian protesters. "Britain must get a grip. Its never been this pathetic to watch such glorious nation cower to radial Islamists for the sake of votes," a Grimsby native who pleaded anonymity retorted. @10DowningStreet @ukhomeoffice @UKLabour @Conservatives @HouseofCommons @UKHouseofLords @BBCNews @realDonaldTrump @JDVance @marcorubio @StateDept @Reuters @AP @OANN @TimesofIsrael @netanyahu @CNN @FoxNews @nytimes @MELANIATRUMP @DonaldJTrumpJr @SkyNewsAust @washingtonpost @USATODAY @NewYorker @euronews @RSBNetwork @TPUSA @SenateGOP @HouseGOP @uk

MOURNING A TYRANT IN NORTHERN NIGERIA: TIME FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO STOP HATE RALLIES AND DEATH CHANTS For 47 long years, Iranians were captives under a tyrannical Islamic cleric who overthrew their monarchy and held the entire nation hostage. He was never elected, his rule was imposed by fear, repression, and brutality. He murdered tens of thousands of his own people, silenced generations, and spread terror beyond Iran’s borders. In light of this history, it is striking that while many Iranians express relief at the decline of such leadership, some groups in Northern Nigeria have chosen instead to mourn and publicly defend the same figure associated with that system. This contrast raises a difficult moral question: how can grief for leaders accused of repression outweigh solidarity with those who claim to have suffered under their rule? For many Iranians, decades of fear, imprisonment, and censorship defined life under the regime. Yet in Northern Nigeria, rallies have sometimes echoed slogans such as “Death to America” and “Death to Israel,” language that promotes hostility rather than justice or compassion. True moral clarity demands standing with victims of oppression wherever they may be. Mourning figures associated with decades of alleged repression while ignoring the voices of those who resisted them creates a troubling contradiction. Faith, justice, and humanity should inspire support for freedom, dignity, and peace rather than the glorification of leaders tied to violence and fear. There is also a broader national concern. Public rallies that promote death chants against other nations damage Nigeria’s global reputation and undermine its diplomatic standing. Such rhetoric contributes little to constructive dialogue and instead portrays the country as tolerant of hostility. The Nigerian government should take responsible steps to prohibit hate rallies and language that incites hatred, protecting Nigeria’s image and promoting a more responsible civic culture. @NGRPresident @NGRSenate @realDonaldTrump @JDVance @PeteHegseth @officialABAT @channelstv @CNN @StateDept @marcorubio @NigeriaGov @HouseNGR @tvcnewsng @ARISEtv @AIT_Online @SenateGOP @HouseGOP @LindseyGrahamSC @tedcruz @RepRileyMoore @LeaderJohnThune @GovMikeHuckabee @netanyahu @IsraeliPM @IDF @nsciaNG @CNN @FoxNews @ABC @SkyNews @BBCWorld @nytimes @DonaldJTrumpJr @_AfricanUnion @UN @TPUSA @NBCNews @CBSNews @MELANIATRUMP @MikeArnoldTruth @vanguardngrnews @DailyMail @washingtonpost @DeptofWar @WhiteHouse @TheSun @seanhannity @OjyOkpe @JesseBWatters @USATODAY

The English Premier League should reconsider its policy to pause matches at sunset during Ramadan. The policy deviates from the neutrality embedded in the Laws of the Game, written by the International Football Association Board (IFAB) and followed in competitions under FIFA. The principle that states that sport must not be used for political, religious, or personal expression exists to keep the game a neutral space, free from ideological or sectarian signalling. If one faith’s observance warrants an in-game pause, what is the consistent policy for others? If every religious request required structured stoppages, a 90-minute match would struggle to remain 90 minutes. Religious freedom is a private right, fully respected without requiring changes to the format of play. A football pitch is not a place of worship; it is a competitive arena governed by uniform laws designed to apply equally and without preference. Neutrality is not optional. It is foundational. click to continue reading civilrightsinternational.org/the-english-pr… The English Premier League, Ramadan Pauses, and the Question of Football’s Neutrality @BBCSport @TheSunFootball @premierleague @NBCSports @SkyNews @SkySportsPL @CBSSports @euronews @FOXSports @FOXSoccer @EPLworld @Reuters @Independent @DailyMail @DailyMirror @Telegraph @itvfootball @ManUtd @LFC @FabrizioRomano @FIFAcom @UEFAcom @LUFC @SSFootball @seanhannity

The Premier League’s decision to pause matches at sunset during Ramadan raises a serious question about football’s long-standing commitment to neutrality. The Laws of the Game, written by the International Football Association Board and followed in competitions under FIFA, are explicit in their intent: the sport must not be used for political, religious, or personal expression. That principle exists to keep the game a neutral space, free from ideological or sectarian signalling. If one faith’s observance warrants an in-game pause, what is the consistent policy for others? If every religious request required structured stoppages, the 90-minute match would struggle to remain 90 minutes. By pausing matches at sunset during Ramadan to allow Muslim players to break their fast, the league has injected religious observance directly into the structure of the game. Neutrality is not optional. It is foundational. click to continue reading civilrightsinternational.org/the-english-pr… @SkySportsPL @SkySportsNews @FIFAcom @UEFAcom

GORTON AND DENTON BY-ELECTION: UK MUST ACT TO PROTECT DEMOCRATIC INTEGRITY The Gorton and Denton by-election on February 26, 2026, has raised serious concerns about the integrity of local voting procedures in the United Kingdom. Independent observers from Democracy Volunteers reported extremely high levels of family voting, where multiple family members entered polling booths together, potentially influencing each other’s choices. These incidents were predominantly observed in Muslim communities, with observers visiting 22 of the 45 polling stations in the constituency and noting the highest levels of family voting seen in a decade, Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of British democracy. Every vote must be cast independently, in secret, and without undue influence. Reports of repeated family voting incidents threaten public confidence, creating the perception that the democratic process can be compromised. Whether caused by confusion, oversight, or deliberate misconduct, these breaches highlight the urgent need for corrective measures, While lawful voting patterns based on personal, cultural, or political preferences are legitimate, behaviour that undermines ballot secrecy or violates election law is unacceptable. Family voting is a criminal offence under the Ballot Secrecy Act 2023 and is unconstitutional. Upholding democratic principles requires consistent enforcement, regardless of the motivations or affiliations of those involved. It is particularly important to intensify civic education in communities where such practices are prevalent and to discourage these behaviours through awareness and guidance, The Electoral Commission, local returning officers, and law enforcement should review these incidents transparently. Steps such as retraining polling staff, reinforcing rules on booth access, and providing clear voter guidance can prevent future occurrences. Where violations are deliberate, prosecutions and proportional sanctions must follow to safeguard electoral integrity, Britain has long prided itself on the credibility of its electoral system. Maintaining that trust demands vigilance, transparency, and accountability. The high levels of family voting observed in Gorton and Denton, particularly in Muslim communities, serve as a stark warning. Action must be taken now to protect the independence of every voter, intensify civic education, and preserve confidence in future elections, @10DowningStreet @UKLabour @Conservatives @HouseofCommons @UKHouseofLords @euronews @CNN @FoxNews @SkyNewsAust @realDonaldTrump @RSBNetwork @BBCNews @nytimes @Reuters @_FriedrichMerz @GiorgiaMeloni @EmmanuelMacron @AP @elonmusk @USATODAY @washingtonpost @BreitbartNews @ukhomeoffice @UKParliament

PALLESTINE ACTION VANDALISE CHURCHILL STATUE: BRITAIN MUST DRAW THE LINE ON CRIMINAL DAMAGE IN THE NAME OF PALESTINE When activists linked to Palestine Action sprayed red graffiti across the statue of Winston Churchill in London, they were not exercising protest, they were committing criminal damage in one of the country’s most symbolically significant civic spaces. Slogans accusing Churchill of being a “Zionist war criminal” were daubed across a monument that represents not merely stone and bronze, but Britain’s wartime survival and democratic endurance. Disagreement over foreign policy, anger about Gaza, or hostility toward Israel does not grant anyone a licence to vandalise public monuments. Britain robustly protects free speech. It protects peaceful marches. It protects the right to criticise governments, past and present. What it does not protect and must never normalise is the deliberate destruction of shared national heritage for political theatre. This incident does not stand alone. Activists associated with Palestine Action have, in the past, escalated from demonstrations to direct-action break-ins and property damage at facilities operated by Elbit Systems in Britain. Equipment has been damaged. Operations have been disrupted. Arrests and prosecutions have followed. Each time, the justification is framed as moral urgency. Each time, the method is criminal damage. Now, the tactics appear to be broadening from industrial targets to national monuments. The UK government must reject this trajectory unequivocally and make clear that political grievances, however strongly felt, do not justify the destruction of property. This is the moment when the government must draw a visible and immovable line. If vandalism of factories leads to vandalism of statues, what comes next? Public order depends not on selective enforcement but on the consistent application of the law. When political groups test boundaries incrementally, hesitation from authorities can be mistaken for tolerance. Hate matches and intimidation must not be tolerated on UK streets. Existing laws should be firmly enforced without apology. Those who organise, encourage, or carry out criminal damage must face proportionate consequences. Sentencing guidance should reflect the seriousness of politically motivated vandalism in high-profile civic spaces. Repeat offenders should expect escalating penalties. Where networks are coordinating unlawful acts, investigative scrutiny should follow. Democracy is not defended by slogans sprayed in the night. It is defended by rules applied equally to all. Britain has weathered far greater storms than this, but only because it has understood a simple truth, freedom without order collapses into chaos. If the line is not drawn now, clearly, confidently, and consistently, others will test it again. The time to act is now. @10DowningStreet @Keir_Starmer @HouseofCommons @UKHouseofLords @ukhomeoffice @realDonaldTrump @JDVance @marcorubio @StateDept @UKLabour @BBCNews @CNN @FoxNews @WSJ @OANN @SkyNews @washingtonpost @euronews @SkyNewsAust @Reuters @AP @Independent @TeamTrump @seanhannity @BreitbartNews @PressSec @DailyMail @VOANews @GOP @MELANIATRUMP @DonaldJTrumpJr @ABC @CBSNews @NBCNews @TheSun @guardian @antonioguterres @elonmusk @BBCWorld
