In fact, the @mygovMaha 's Forest Dept. has already started clearing the mangroves at the Charkop site in gross violation of the Hon'ble High Court Order i.e. without first planting 1.37 lakhs compensatory mangroves at Bhayender. While driving back home last night around midnight , shot this ongoing repair works on the Parel TT flyover. As part of it, the civic body will carry out replacement of expansion joints & concreting of the flyover’s road surface. The works are expected to be completed by May 31, 2026.
