Please pause today to really think about what Memorial Day means, and give thanks to those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may live free. To fellow comrades and the loved ones who know - in a particularly painful way - all too well what today represents, raise a glass and… REMEMBER. (Also, try to smile when you remember the gifts our beloved Fallen brought to our lives.) “Here’s to them and those like them; DAMNED FEW LEFT!” Have an impactful and meaningful Memorial Day.

I just sent this to Acting Attorney General Blanche, voicing my dire - and continued - concerns with the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ (CAIR) misuse / abuse of Taxpayer dollars, and various other violations. CAIR-CA (for starters) should have its accreditation and/or grant eligibility revoked, and further action against the National CAIR organization must be investigated. CAIR Inc, and its chapters pose a significant National security threat, and is unworthy of Taxpayer funds.

It’s long overdue that the US seeks justice against the leadership of the murderous, authoritarian, socialist Cuban government. The families of murdered Americans have waited far too long for accountability and, today, the US DOJ took the first step in making that a real possibility. Collaborating with Russia and China for decades, Cuba has destabilized our hemisphere, terrorized its neighbors, stolen from and impoverished its own citizens, and subverted the free will of all subjected to its influence. In its quest to support communist and autocratic regimes intent on ruling the world, Cuba has cozied up to the greatest human rights abusers in the world. This week is dedicated to our tireless EMTs, paramedics, and emergency medical professionals who stand ready to save lives and unhesitatingly serve our communities. Under ceaseless pressure and many times, danger, responding to emergencies, providing critical care, and comforting the sick/injured in difficult moments, EMS personnel are extraordinarily courageous, professional, and compassionate. Proud to join my colleagues in calling on the EPA to repeal the Biden-era Hydrofluorocarbon Management Rule, which is driving up refrigeration costs for grocers and raising food prices for consumers.   It’s past time to end this overburdensome regulation that only makes it harder for grocery stores to operate.   Thank you to @RepScottPerry for leading this effort to lower costs for hardworking Americans.

Today, I led the effort in urging Administrator @EPALeeZeldin to rescind the EPA’s Hydrofluorocarbon Management Rule, which increases the cost of refrigeration. This regulatory burden puts a strain on grocers across the Country, and increases grocery costs for consumers. Imagine you’re fleeing a dangerous situation… adrenaline pumping, hands shaking, heart racing. The kill switch IN YOUR VEHICLE decides “you’re impaired” and shuts off your vehicle. Or how about this: a husband is speeding his pregnant wife to the hospital … but his car decides he’s intoxicated, and shuts off the vehicle. These are real-world situations where a government-mandated kill switch could leave you stranded and helpless when seconds matter most. KILL. THE. KILL SWITCH.

Like we don’t get nickel-and-dimed enough? “Congestion Tolls” have no place in Washington.   I introduced the “DC ROADS Act” to prohibit these tolls and ensure that commuters and visitors to our Nation’s capital can travel freely.

The Fourth Amendment isn’t a suggestion.    No government should have the authority to remotely control a vehicle you paid for, or turn it into a tool for surveillance.   It's time to KILL THE KILL SWITCH.

The E15 issue simplified…

Today (and every day) we honor the law enforcement officers who were killed or disabled in the line of duty. We are eternally endebted to the those who put service above all - without regard for their own personal safety.   May God bless all who serve with fortitude and honor.

The Renewable Fuel Standard is a 30-cent hidden tax on every gallon of gasoline and diesel. Refiners are forced to buy tradeable compliance credits - the costs of which are passed straight to you at the pump. 22 states currently allow for year-round E15, yet it’s rarely sold – even in Big Corn states.   THIS IS CRAZINESS.
