On January 4, 2025, my bill, HR 5103 – "The FISHES Act" was signed into law by the President. HR 5103 expedites the delivery of much-needed fishery disaster relief to coastal communities. Today, we received the pen & signed copy of this monumental win for the people of Florida.

This morning, I had the honor of delivering the keynote address at the National Child Protection Faith Summit in Washington, D.C. There is no greater measure of a nation than how it treats its children — especially the vulnerable, the forgotten, the abused, the trafficked, and the abandoned. The heart of this summit is about restoring power and agency to the faith leaders, mentors, and foster families who are bravely stepping up to say, "These children are our responsibility." Thank you to my good friend, @JackBrewerBSI, for hosting this pivotal event focused on solution-driven dialogue with the goal of protecting our kids and strengthening American families through faith and direct action.
