BREAKING: The House just voted to ADVANCE a bill extending protections for 350,000 Haitians, preventing them from being deported. Every Democrat besides one voted for it.

H Res 965 is backdoor amnesty for hundreds of thousands of Haitians who came into our country illegally. It is an abject disgrace and a shameful betrayal of everything Republicans ran on in 2024. All conservatives should vehemently rejected it. Unfortunately, the bill was just discharged on the House floor with 219 votes. We will vote on final passage of the bill tomorrow.

Thanks to you, we better understand the “talking” versus the “silent” filibuster. Can you please explain the process that “5 Senators” initiates (I may have missed it, if so can you please repost it, repeatedly?): 5 Senators to initiate, Conference Chair’s (Tom Cotton) role in the process if any, and the 27 Senator votes required to remove the Senate Leader? Straight talk from a Senator. A single Senator cannot accomplish this on their own. The redundantly “posting Senators” will not accomplish this. WE are responsible for giving President Trump a Congress that will work to support his policies with legislation. Several consistently opposing Senators are up for reelection or removal from Congress in this year’s midterms and in the 2028 elections, between these 2 election cycles, ~2/3rds of this current Senate (all political parties) can be either reelected or replaced. Up to us.
